Classes

3-5 Year Olds

This is an introduction to Spanish basics including colors, greetings, please and thank you, and basic vocabulary, incorporating music and movements..Back to the Top

Para Mamá y Mí

Similar to the 3-5 Year Olds class, except that it includes mom (or dad) (or grandmother/grandfather), this class allows the adult to learn basics along with the child, thus enabling the parent and child to reinforce learning between classes.Back to the Top

 

Elementary Grades 1-5

Along with an introduction to basic Spanish phrases, students will learn colors, how to count, ask and answer simple questions. Date and time, animals, body parts, clothes, and weather are some of the topics that may be covered.Back to the Top

 

Middle School Grades 6-8

The focus of this class is to supplement and reinforce learning in middle school Spanish class, including both using and understanding verb conjugations, basic grammar, different aspects of the hispanic cultures, and the importance of accent marks in both pronunciation and in word meaning. High School Grades 9-12

This class is designed to reinforce, supplement, augment, and provide support for students of high school Spanish. There is flexiblity to focus on aspects of the language with which students are struggling.Back to the Top

 

Home Schoolers Grades 6-12

Adult Spanish

Always wanted to learn Spanish for fun? This is the class for you! A basic introduction to the Spanish language and cultures in a relaxed atmosphere, without the worry of being graded. Learn to meet and greet people and carry on a basic conversation in Spanish. Back to the Top

Spanish for Teachers

The class will focus on basic Spanish, with an emphasis on classroom vocabulary and commands. Back to the Top

Other

If a group is interested in targeting a specific aspect of the language, or in learning for a specific reason, ie. travel vocabulary, then a class can be tailored for the group. Back to the Top
